Thermal Coatings

Many of our projects require that foam be left exposed, whether in an attic, crawl space, mechanical room, etc. In some cases, building inspectors will require that an ignition or thermal barrier be installed over the foam. There are a few ways to satisfy this requirement, including sheetrock, intumescent paint or mineral wool. Ecologic Energy Solutions is proud to offer Andek Firegard intumescent paint which is an approved thermal and ignition barrer that can be painted over all of our foams to satisfy this requirement.
